Maryland Hydroponics - Maryland Hydroponics, Laurel MD
Maryland Hydroponics gives Maryland residents a wide range of equipment, tools, special nutrients, lighting, and other items for successful hydroponics gardening. Its founder, Brian Rubin, opened the doors to the initial Laurel, Maryland, location in 2003; in his first year of business, he was able to gross over $1 million. Mr. Rubin now has plans to open other Maryland Hydroponics centers in the future.
As owner of Maryland Hydroponics, Brian Rubin has faced many challenges that other entrepreneurs have not endured. Since he was a child, Mr. Rubin has lived with Asperger’s syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder. In spite of his challenges, he encourages other persons with disabilities to work hard and achieve their dreams, and has done so by speaking at Syracuse University’s Start-Up NY and other outlets. Brian Rubin has twice been named “Business Person of the Year with a Disability.”
Maryland Hydroponics has also garnered numerous awards, including recognition from the Governor of Maryland. In 2009, Maryland Hydroponics won the Progressive Gardening Trade Association’s award for best TV advertisement.
Well instructed in how hydroponics works, the employees at Maryland Hydroponics provide help to Maryland residents with their indoor and outdoor gardens. The Maryland Hydroponics website also answers many questions for gardeners and makes most of its products available to shoppers across America. In addition, Maryland Hydroponics offers tools and equipment for traditional gardening.
