Clip-n-Tails North Las Vegas - Velinda Wiedrick manages daily operations, advertising, web representation, and in-store retail
Clip-N-Tails pet groomers received the Best of North Las Vegas award for two consecutive years, including in 2008, only the second year of the company’s existence.
Clip-N-Tails’ professional and experienced workers undergo a thorough screening and must participate in ongoing training to keep their services up to date. Each potential groomer for Clip-N-Tails must undergo drug testing before being hired and may also be tested periodically while working for the North Las Vegas shop.
The owner of the facility puts the dogs’ safety first and has a zero tolerance policy for abusive or malicious behavior. Clip-N-Tails will terminate the employment of any groomer found to have mistreated a dog at any time. Company employees must obtain certification in animal CPR. In addition to this certification, each groomer must continue her education in the field. This is accomplished by attending a yearly seminar in the North Las Vegas area.
The North Las Vegas community benefits from the services provided by Clip-N-Tails as well. Local shelters and even regular clients who have fallen on hard times often receive free grooming at the shop. In addition, the shop’s owner dedicates her time and resources to helping shelters arrange adoptions for dogs in their care that need homes.
Clip-N-Tails also regularly participates in charitable events, such as a book signing where part of the proceeds went to charity.
