Toby Keith Bar - The Toby Keith bar franchise is called I Love This Bar & Grill
The Toby Keith bar franchise is called I Love This Bar & Grill, a name inspired by the singer's hit song. Fans of the popular singer can locate a Toby Keith bar in Mesa, Arizona; Minneapolis, Minnesota; the California cities of Rancho Cucamonga and Folsom; Cincinnati, Ohio; Rosemont, Illinois; Auburn Hills, Michigan; Foxborough, Massachusetts; and Denver, Colorado.
Each location is themed upon the country music-maker himself. The bars form the shape of giant guitars; southern-inspired drinks featuring Jack Daniels and Southern Comfort fill the drinks menu; servers dress as cowgirls; and country music videos play on the television screens. On those nights when live country bands do not perform, a DJ in the bar plays country songs. Every restaurant also has a gift shop where diners can buy Toby Keith memorabilia.
The menu is composed of traditional southern favorites. There are chicken wings, mac and cheese, creamed corn, mashed sweet potatoes, fried okra, and even a fried bologna sandwich on Texas toast. The goal is to give native southerners a taste of home while introducing southern food to others.
In addition to serving regular diners, each restaurant also hosts many special events. Sometimes the restaurants provide venues for charities including veteran groups and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Other times, events are music-themed, as in the case of the MGM Grand Gold Buckle Battle of the Bands, a contest to see who will play with Western Justice in the national rodeo finals at the MGM Grand in December 2012. Contests are hosted at various Toby Keith bar locations around the country.
