FreeLotto - FreeLotto
Since its inception in 1999, FreeLotto has awarded more than $90 million to its users around the world. FreeLotto conducts six prize drawings each day, and, depending on numbers matched, members can win between $1 and $10 million in the games. FreeLotto also offers a prize doubler option. Prize Doubler subscribers receive double their winnings if their numbers come up in a FreeLotto drawing.
FreeLotto functions much like a traditional state lottery drawing. A ball-drop machine manufactured by Garron Lottery Products of Baltimore, Maryland, selects the winning numbers for each drawing. Players who match some or all of the numbers win a cash prize. In order to win the $1 prize, a player must match three of six numbers in the FreeLotto Classic $1,000,000.00 Daily Jackpot game. FreeLotto players who match all numbers win the grand prize for the drawing.
Beginning in 2003, FreeLotto began offering its users the opportunity to donate some or all of their winnings to improve the world. With the Click2Give program, prize winners can choose to donate their winnings to a variety of charities. Charities in the Click2Give program include Amnesty International, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, Wildlife Trust, and Meals on Wheels. So far, the program and contributions from PlasmaNet, Inc. have resulted in more than $1.8 million in donations.
FreeLotto continues to expand and now has 64 million members worldwide. Recent FreeLotto winners have come from the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Singapore, Finland, and South Africa. The site supports itself through advertisements, special e-mail offers, and the optional FreeLotto Automatic Subscription Ticket (F.A.S.T.) program, which allows subscribers to have their numbers played automatically without logging into the site for a small service fee per 30 days.
